CCIT (www.ccit.com), Container Closure Integrity Testing company, is a leader in the testing of packaging sealing. Their process requires a custom mold for each product they test. Going all the way from the technical specifications to the manufacturing, testing and delivery of four distinctive molds, this project summarises well the value of our service. It included a loop of design optimisation for minimising the air gap between the mold and the part to be tested. One of the main challenges was to measure and reproduce the 3D drawing of the blisters.
